This is BAKER Brand page. It has tips and tools to keep us looking potent, consistent, and clear to the public. In this day and age where the public is overloaded with messages from all directions, THE company that stands for something and that is clearly understood will prevail over competitors. This means EVERYTHING MUST BE IN SYNC: colors, tone of OUR language, photos, mood, advertising, web site, the way we talk to customers, trade show displays, telephone message system...all of it! We must continue to strengthen our character, personality, and reputation.

Everything we do should all fall back to what we stand for which we'll just call the BAKER FUN4MENTALS. We're not actually selling transmissions, we're selling the expectations below:

  • Skeptical toward cheap, offshore products. We hate them for what they do, and we’re not afraid of them

  • Edgy, strange-humored and mischievous tendencies from a lively creative nature
  • Unconventional thinking. Creative. Better. Convention must prove itself to us.

  • Helpful and concerned because of pride, passion and dedication
  • Down-to-earth, honest, wide-eyed and friendly…
  • …but complicated, wise, and significant when it comes to the drivetrain
  • Respectful to the customer and the American motorcycle culture
  • Helpful in keeping this American motorcycle culture AMERICAN

4. American
Personality Traits Include:

  • A “just do it the right way” spirit
  • A little cowboy-ish
  • A publicly solid stance and an unapologetic attitude for what we are
  • Comfortable due to a strong individualistic free spirit
  • Biker: We use contractions, slang, and swearing (when timely). BAKER is of bikers.
  • Engineers: Highly technical when the need arises
  • A little rebellious
